West Side Sim-Racing Club 2023 GT3 Championship Series 1, and Porsche GT3 Cup Championship Series 1

West Side Sim-Racing Club is pleased to announce our first GT3 Championship Series for 2023, and our first ever Porsche GT3 Cup Championship Series!

For our two running Championship Series we will be using a 2 week split interval with races for each championship alternating every Thursday.

Our primary, top level, GT3 Championship will once again feature our special qualification format, with a 1 hour race and a mandatory pit stop, across 5 of our community favored tracks!

Our alternating Porsche GT3 Championship will feature a standard qualification format and a 45min sprint race without a mandatory pit stop, across 4 carefully selected exciting tracks!

Congratulations to the podium winners! Saul Boucher, Ross Sparrow, and Don Belanger!

BMW's M2 CS Car proved to be the perfect car for a tight, high intensity, and competitive series. The reverse grid format being ideal for this Championship Series. Saul Boucher, after a poor finish in the race before last, took advantage of the high position start for the last race and took home the win in the final race, leaping the other two drivers ahead in the Championship Standings to win the Championship! Ross Sparrow and Don Belanger tied for 2nd position after an intense battle throughout the series.

West Side Sim-Racing Club 2022 GT3 Championship Series 3

Returning after a long summer break, West Side Sim-Racing Club is excited to host our 3rd championship series of 2022. Featuring the recently added American tracks, a special qualification format, and the GT3 class.

A 10 race championship series, split with a 1 week break in the middle, and the season finale one week prior to US Thanksgiving in spectacular fashion at Suzuka with a 90min race and time multiplier.

Entry is invitational. New members joining our community are encouraged to race in our casual club races on Tuesday nights, which are hosted using the same track and car class as our Championship Series. Members interested in joining our Championship Series can reach out to our Race Directors on Discord.

Congratulations to the podium winners! Mike Bowen, Don Belanger, and Saul Boucher!

An extremely tight battle between Mike and Don, really came down to the final race to determine would would take the top spot on the podium. In the end, Bowen driving a much improved Honda, which complemented his driving style and skills perfectly, was very tough to beat and earned himself the top spot in the standings for this series!

West Side Sim-Racing is pleased to present our second championship series for 2022. A return to the familiar comfort of a GT3 cockpit, featuring reversed grids based on overall championship standings, and the introduction of variable weather conditions for two events. The first 3 races will feature a standard P/Q/R format, after which the remaining 7 races will be reverse grid.

A 10 race championship series featuring an exciting track selection, custom reversed grids, and the top class GT3 cars!

Congratulations to the podium winners! Don Belanger, Mike Bowen, and Gene Watson!

From the drop of the lights, to the final checkered flag, Don showcased what the Maserati was capable of against the field of other GT cars despite the lack of TC and ABS. Driver talent was on display as Don dominated his way to the podium pole position for our first GT4 series of 2022!

West Side Sim-Racing is pleased to present our first Championship Series for 2022! We return to the exciting GT4 class, featuring reverse grids! Race 1 will have a P/Q/R format, after which all remaining races the grid start order will be based on the overall standings, reversed!

A total of 6 races on an exciting track selection, one hour races, with a single mandatory pit stop and a 20 minute window. These races will be intense and strategic!
